"Discovering new worlds will not only bring luck and knowledge but also fear and sorrow. How do you want to treasure luck when you don't know sorrow? How will you ever gain knowledge when you never face your fears? The great challenge of life is to overcome the boarders within you and go as far as you've never dared dreaming."

Karla Stanek

Vinyasa Yoga teacher

Karla Stanek has been practicing yoga for approximately ten years and finished 2009 her Vinyasa Yoga teacher training at the Yogaloft in Cologne/Germany, where she teaches since. Her training was mainly influenced by here teachers Véronique Fleming, Sonia Bach und David "Pushava" Winch, as well as David Swenson and Edward Clark.

Since she absolved her teacher training she participates regularly at workshops and continuing trainings. Here she is mainly fascinated by the powerful style of Ana Forrest as well as by the stillness of Yin Yoga.

A few years ago she started surfing and realized after a while the common aspects of yoga and surfing and how both can be adapted to life. All of it is more enjoyable when lived in a flow - here and now - and is not taken too seriously. If we dare something and risk falling without being attached to the results we have the opportunity to grow constantly.

The focus of Karla's classes is to see everything in a way of lightness, have fun and just take a deep breath when it becomes too difficult - the rest will come all by itself at it's right time...
